Dive In

I've seen a lot of etched shower screens over the years (mermaids, fish, flamingos, swans...) but none of them as lovely as this.
(and I don't need to mention those perfectly coordinated venetians, "tumbling block" floor tiles, et al. Do I?!)

From its wrought iron front gate to its flat roofed back shed there's only one thing not to love about this little gem from the 60's: it's 97 kilometres from Perth - that's almost an hour and a half in the car! Too far for me :(

For sale here.

  1. Oh My! What is not to love here! My fave...the two narrow drawers in the kitchen - how sensible. Front door - Fab! Love the symmetrical entrance. Can you imagine the style fashionistas that were the Mr and Mrs moving into that home when it was first built. Almost a love story in itself I imagine. You DO find the most AMAZING gems!

  3. That kitchen is so lovely but there are way too many tiles to keep clean in that bathroom. Wouldn't mind a change to the country though. xxx

  5. What a ripper! Gold. Love the old minor details too like the original blind, so few things like that usually last this long.
