Clowning Around

via the always fabulous messy nessy chic (seriously, this blog never disappoints i.m.o.) Source

I saw this pic and had to share it. Nice (intriguing) to see the much maligned clown get a bit lot of love for a change. Could you decorate your bathroom like this? Would you be bold enough, or does it scare the life out of you? The 'experts' say every home needs a bit of quirk, but do you think this is taking it just a bit too far? Just wondering...

Speaking of bathrooms, we still don't have one! I'll keep you posted x

p.s. actually, current circumstances in mind, this one is starting to look good!

  2. Yikes - that's a bit of a mug's eyeful, as Alan Sugar likes to say. Wa-hay too much clown for me

  3. I like a bit of whimsy as evidenced by my birds and wooden monkeys, but that's a bit much...and I don't even suffer from coulrophobia (although my brother does).

I feel your pain about the bathroom. I love my little house, but my contractor and I are about to go round and round. My bathroom roof leaks, and I can't get him to come out here to make it right. I hope all that gets resolved for you soon!

  7. Hi Kylie, this sure is quirky and I like the colours but I couldn't live with all of those clowns. Oh and your little colander did make an appearance in my last post for 2013, well spotted!

  8. I couldn't have it at my place. I couldn't stand the dust it would collect and whilst I don't have a clown phobia there might be a few too many for me to process. I do however ADORE your new funny wall.

  9. I love this photo, and I don't think it's too much, but it takes guts, and at the end of the day I'm not living in it! I wouldn't be able to do it.

  10. Not sure...actually I know I would never pull this off in my household xxx

  11. So - would you rather have THIS clowny bathroom, or NO bathroom, Kylie? Like you said, it's starting to look appealing, isn't it?!
Nope, sorry, clowns are hideous, and that is that! xxx

  15. No. Don't like the clowns. Don't like bathrooms that house harbingers for bacteria and mould ... And that's what each and every one of those CLOWNS ARE!!!

  16. I'm not ordinarily scared of clowns but I really don't want that many faces staring at me when I'm in the bath or on the loo! Don't like it.
