Meet Betty

(unlike me - I've had the same 'do', give or take a fringe, for twenty years!)
 
Meet Betty's maker and namesake here.
 
I found her at Guildford Village Potters.
They make/sell some lovely pottery and ceramics, very reasonably priced too (heaps cheaper than a lot of the pottery I'm currently lusting over on etsy!) There's a lot of 80's country cottage stuff on the shelves (tea bag holders and such) but keep an open mind, and your eyes peeled and you will be rewarded.

    That second photo is so funny - reminds me of Tom Hanks and his anthropomorphised soccer ball, Wilson, in the film, Cast Away.

    Lovely spiky plants! And Betty is definitely a quirky gal. :)

    Miss Betty is quite the looker. She looks a little like a Las Vegas showgirl in the first photo, and I agree that she looks a lot like Wilson the soccer ball in the second. In the third, she looks like she's ready for a tea party, and in the fourth, she looks a little like her spikes ought to be hot pink.

    Betty's just beautiful. She's a cracker find. I love these sorts of ceramics. If only I had some clay, a kiln and some glaze and a potter ... I'd be in heaven.

    Betty's a bit wild on the hair front, very impressed. I'm like you, set in my ways, but to be fair, with hair like mine, you can't really do a lot. Yours always looks lovely, do you have a fringe at the moment? I love the way yours looks in your profile pic. I've decided to avoid etsy for a bit. I keep getting hit with massive import taxes. xxx
